Ruth Ron

Born and grew up in Jerusalem, Israel, Ruth received a B.A. in music from the Rubin Academy of Music and Dance in 1991. In 1997 Ruth received an Artist Diploma and Master of music from Indiana University, U.S.A

Since 1991 Ruth was a member of the leading orchestras in Israel, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.  Ruth performed as soloist with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Israeli Sinfonietta Orchestra, the I.K.O. and more.  Ruth performs and records regularly with professional chamber music groups such as the “Kaprisma” ensemble, and the Israeli Flute ensemble. Since 2009 she is a member of “Theme” ensemble.

Ruth performed in different festivals including the contemporary music festivals in Buffalo, U.S.A and Seoul, S. Korea, the Red Sea and the Abu Gosh festivals in Israel and Friedberg Germany music festival.

Ruth teaches at the Givatayim conservatory, the Levinsky college and at the Buchman-Mehta school of music. She works regularly with professionals as well as amateurs musicians.
